What Makes Traveller So Special
- Strong Design and Build - Bruce Farr design is capable of 200+ miles days, while her deep hull doesn't pound to windward, built strong, with a thick fiberglass hull reinforced by longitudinal and latitudinal stringers infused with Kevlar. Being such a fast boat makes the decision to reef and otherwise be conservative underway an easy one. We rarely trade speed for comfort.
- Powerful, Safe Sailplan for Shorthanded Passage making - Masthead sloop with an added staysail, in-mast furling, manual furling staysail and an electric furling genoa. All of which can be handled from the safety of the cockpit with the aid of 2 speed electric winches. Sails (Evolution) and standing rigging (Hayn) both new in 2021. A spinnaker pole is stored against the mast.
- All weather comfort/Security - Full canvas enclosure features an oversized dodger with isinglass forward, rain and bugscreens, and an oversized frame designed to support additional solar panels.
- Lots of room for entertaining. HUGE cockpit with room for 8+. Sugar scoop transom and split wheels make boarding from a dinghy or jumping in for swim easy. Salon table with seating for 6.
